Tropical olive oil cake with hibiscus flower glaze

Ingredients for the cake:
1 cup Extra virgin Olive oil (try to use a high quality oil)
11/2 A.p flour
2 whole Eggs
1/3 cups of Flaxseeds
1/2 cup Shredded Green apples
1 overripe Banana
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 cup Green yogurt
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Pink Salt or kosher
Instrucciones:
Preheat the oven at 350 F with the baking rack positioned in the lower third of the oven. Lightly grease the cake pan with butter + sugar.
In a large mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix them well, then add all the wet ingredients ( Eggs, yogurt, green apples, banana, olive oil) mix by hand until well combined
Remove from the oven and place on a wire cooling rack for 15-20 minutes, then gently invert the cake onto a cake stand or serving plate. It should come out cleanly. Let cool completely and add the hibiscus glaze.

1 taza Aceite de oliva extra virgen
1/3 taza semillas de linaza
2 Huevos
1 1/2 tazas de Harina
1/2 taza de Manzana verde Rayada con piel
1 Cambur /Banana (Súper maduro)
1 cdta B.Sodio
1 cdta Cinnamon
1/2 taza de Yogurt griego
1/2 taza de Azúcar
1 cdita Salt rosada
:
1 cup Extra virgin Olive oil

1 very ripe Banana
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 cup Green yogurt
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp Pink Salt or kosher

For Glaze:

3/4 cup (90g) powdered sugar, sifted, plus more for dusting
2-3 tablespoons brewed hibiscus tea*

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of buying hibiscus flowers, you can opt to leave the glaze plain, or add powdered raspberry/strawberry or even cocoa powder to flavor your glaze.
